Giving a voice to those that don't fit the mold
At Findicate, we invest in women-led startups and let the traction speak for itself.
Women are massively underrepresented in the tech ecosystem
Only 2% of venture capital funding goes to women founders each year.
We envision a future with an equitable funding for women founders & equitable social empowerment of women.
We see a future where women and men have equal access to finance and tools to improve lives, and equal seat and respect at the table.
Why We Exist
We believe that women are outstanding entrepreneurs who have extraordinary grit and perseverance, but are underrepresented and underinvested in the technology sector. We are here to support women founders & allies that are improving society for women.
Who We Are
We are a community that provides resources in early funding, collective know-how, and regional network to help founders build impactful businesses that empower and enable the lives of women. Our community is made up of women and allies, including startup founders, operators, and investors, who care about bridging the funding gap for women-led/focused startups.
What We Do
We invest in women-led/focused startups. Startups mean high growth businesses that can raise funds from venture capitalists and have opportunities to exit via IPO or trade sale

FAQs
Who can join the community?
We're open to both women and men as long as you care about diversity & inclusion and want to support women empowerment.
How can I join the community?
Apply to join our community using the link below. Our team will reach out to schedule an intro call with you and share about what we do and expectations for members. After the call, our team will assess fit and add you to the group chat where you'll get access to our events and Findicate Member Zone, in which you'll find details on our upcoming deals and portfolio companies.
What are the fees involved?
There is no membership fee to join Findicate Angels. When you choose to invest in a deal, there may be small SPV set-up and administration charges to cover the cost of structuring the investment vehicle — these are disclosed upfront for each deal. All we ask is that you engage with the community and invest when you find a deal that excites you. We are a volunteer organization and are always open for members to raise their hands to help out.
What's the investment process?
Intro Call: A Findicate team member has an intro call with the founder — this person acts as a Deal Lead. Investment Committee: The Deal Lead shares deal details to the Findicate team, which selects high-potential deals to present to the Advisory Board. Advisory Board: The team shares deal details with the Advisory Board, who provide sector expertise and flag risks. Member Call: High-potential deals are presented to members on our regular Deal Call. Due Diligence: Interested members ask further questions and decide to invest. Closing: Findicate finalizes the investment amount, reviews the investment agreement, sets up the SPV, and facilitates fund wiring.
How does Findicate source and screen deals?
Because our team is deeply ingrained in the technology sector in Southeast Asia, our friends and colleagues refer deals to us. We're also open for founders to apply for funding on our form and for members to share deals with us.
How can founders apply to get funding?
Founders can apply for funding on our form and get in touch with our team through LinkedIn.
How long is the investment period?
The typical investment period is up to 10 years. If there's an opportunity for early investors to sell their stake in the secondary market, we'll facilitate that. However, it's beyond us to know when that opportunity will arise.
How should I think about angel investing versus other types of investments?
Angel investing is investing in businesses that you believe in and where someone is working to grow your capital. However, unexpected things can happen which make angel investing risky. Only invest patient capital and invest what you can afford to lose. We advise each investor to manage their portfolio according to their risk appetite and take a long-term view. That's why we make the minimum investment amount as low as $3K to democratize the ability to angel invest.
